I struggle against bipolar disorder and social anxiety, and lately the social anxiety has been winning the struggle. When I started this blog, I committed to a lot of public contact, which is a real difficult challenge for me. Internet contact, phone calls, or e-mails are generally almost as difficult for me as real life interaction. But it’s a challenge I need. I need to push the boundaries of my comfort zone, because those boundaries have been getting narrower and narrower over the past several years.

And I started off great, for a month or so, before my computer crashed. But since getting the new computer I’ve struggled to get back into the swing of answering the daily messages and e-mails, and have failed. And for that, I’m sorry.

I committed to this blog, to helping people out, and answering your questions, because I need to do it, and because I really believe I help people. So, OK, I’ve had a hard time the past few weeks. But I am still committed to this, and I am going to get back up on the horse, starting now.

And, thanks, Vapor Pete, for giving me the gentle nudge I needed.
