More fun testing out the new camera. Mike’s a good bird! His toys are cheap, and he puts them away when he’s done!

Mike's always on the ball, Baby!

I finally upgraded my camera, and my new camera just arrived last night. I was playing around with it, testing using the remote, the zoom, and light conditions, and so on. Along the way, I managed to finally catch Mike doing something I’ve been promising to get on film; playing with his toy ball by trying to balance on top of it! I swear this is his own idea of fun, and not a trick I’ve taught him.

Oh, this video DOES actually serve a useful purpose besides showing off Mike being cute as hell; I needed to test out my new video file conversion software, and make sure it worked with Windows Movie Maker.

BTW; I order most of Mike’s supplies online through Amazon. I find it convenient, and I usually save money over shopping locally. Plus there are a couple of good shops for bird toys who sell through Amazon. I’ll try to get around to reviewing a couple of them sometime. And Petco’s Bottomless Bowl system is especially convenient for his staple foods and treats.
